Do you know how Internet works behind the scenes ?
If you are new to the Internet you must have read the post at least once. Have you ever wondered how the internet works ? Have you ever visited the dark side of the Internet ? When I am writing blog posts, I am learning a lot. If you want to learn a lot you have to work hard and make time for practice everyday.
Here, we are going to know about Internet SAFETY, INTENTION, DEVELOPMENT, FUNCTIONING and ESSENTIAL.
SAFETY
We are living in an insecure world for that we make every things comes under security events like cars are having keys, houses having locks. We don't know how threats are coming to us and it may occur in an unknown way so that we need to improve our security in a predicted way. Same happens in the security things on the Internet like in our real life. For example, many of the browser having the security of showing websites are safe to enter or not at the top left corner showing a Lock icon which means it is secured, if it shows exclamatory like icon which means unsecured and if shows warning it is one of the dangerous websites to enter which may affect our security by malware, virus, worms, etc.
We were facing new problems every day in our life like approximately 1 million new malware threats released on the Internet every day. For that we are having protocols, Firewalls, Antivirus, etc. And we are still working on real time protection methods against threats.
INTENTION
Imagine you have a car going to drop two friends in the same lane. Having two options, First one is to pick and drop one by one or do it in a single attempt and the final decision will be the second one from this you can save money, energy and precious time. Same thing happens on the Internet. Transferring data is the most important purpose of the Internet and the same thing happens without the Internet means lack of time, energy and money. For this billions of money is invested in the Internet of things to make everything automatic which may lead us to be lazy.
The Internet is not owned by someone, it is for everyone in the world just like air, water and other essential needs.
DEVELOPMENT
Evolution of human beings takes millions of years, each and every part evolved through taking its time to develop. Because of this mankind is one of the most intelligent species in the world. Evolution of the Internet also takes several years with a lot of failure, success and development, now it is one of the greatest inventions of all time. I just want to compare the human race with the evolution of the internet . When a thing takes its own time to make, it will always be a special one whether it is a living or artificial thing.
Now the Internet has become part of our daily life because of the revolution in Information Technology.
FUNCTIONING
Mail Delivery works by collecting letters from the post box and separate it by pin code and move it to the destinations nearby post office and then deliver it. The Internet works in the similar way like Mail Delivery, getting information from a source and delivering it to the destination and here numbers and letters separated by dots acts as an address or pin code. There are a lot of chances of losing mail in mail delivery and it is the same in the Internet too from losing data or information packets may fail.
ESSENTIAL
Humans can't live without basic needs like water, shelter and other essential things. Like this, the Internet is also going to be one of our essential needs to survive and we can't live without it. As per the statistics, there are no non-decreasing users of the internet every year and in a few years people from all over the world are going to be connected to the Internet.
